Hi folks,
My first editorial piece of the season is now up on the website, discussing the resilience on display in last Saturday's game at Bradford, the continuing injury problems hampering the squad - and how Gary McSheffrey adapts to them - plus a word on returning to Lakeside for another season. You can check it out at the link below:
https://www.intotheemptynet.com/post/musings-south-stand-24-doncaster-rovers
Please let me know your thoughts on the article and on what you're hoping for when we take on Sutton this weekend!

Great article, Alias. I agree how much more fitter they all are than last season, with so much more resilience.
I also agree with how they've re-connected with the fans. Some of the players looked close to tears at the reception they received from us all at the end.

Good read, thanks for sharing.
Last Saturday was a resilient performance and a great result but it’s probably a bit soon to suggest we’ve turned a corner. Last season I’d say our main problem was that once we went a goal down, it could and often did become 3, 4 or 6. I definitely think that we’re better equipped to keep our heads up in that situation now, but will need to see more of it before really believing it!

The team showed a lot of fight, it was a situation they were forced into ,with the sending off. It was dug in defending, keeping a constant shield over any space. 11 v 11 it’s a different game you have to go for it a bit, which leaves you vulnerable. Good article thanks.

Early days but fitness been better will be a big improvement. If as a squad you aren't fit enough it's like playing with 10 men for 20min of every game. Too early to tell on resilience but it's a positive sign. 100% we'd have lost that last season
