What a fanny. Another Tory who i'd gladly walk past if they were lying in the middle of the road after having a heart attack. Assuming i recognised him first though lol

I'd happily piss on him but only as long as he wasn't on fire.

Hang on, a 3% interest equalling nearly £1000?

I mean it's late on Friday but that suggests annual rent of £33000 a year?  That's surely bonkers unless I'm missing something?

at least you wouldn't pinch his wallet

i thought i would look into this as i knew there would be "technical misrepresentation"   it happens on both sides

googling  The Benyon Estate

https://thebenyonestate.com/

"The Benyon Estate owns and leases a mixed portfolio of properties in De Beauvoir Town, N1. The area, which lies between Islington and Dalston, was largely developed in the early to mid-Victorian era. It’s admired for its broad, tree-lined streets and attractive, period architecture. The estate is managed by a dedicated in-house team based on Southgate Road and led by Edward Benyon.

We lease a range of terraced houses, maisonettes and flats, shops, offices and the De Beauvoir Block, a 1920s warehouse which we’ve converted into a creative hub of flexible workspaces for local business. But nothing sits still and we are constantly reviewing plans and looking for opportunities to make improvements and expand the breadth of the estate for the future."

" It’s become a bit Hackneyed (an appropriate pun) to describe an area of London as a “village” but, time and time again, our tenants say that’s precisely what this is. Thanks to the town-planning, or the financial constraints, of the Benyon family back in the 19th century, the density of the housing on our streets – especially when compared with neighbouring Islington – is very low. That space, the greenery afforded by the front gardens – especially during the spring when the blossom trees bloom – added to the lack of Tube station means that the area is quieter, greener and altogether more off-radar, than other areas of Zone 2.

Some of our tenants have been with us all their lives; some have met and married and started families here; others are here just for a few years. However long they remain, we want all our tenants to feel completely at home here. We welcome everyone including families with young children, who have dogs or other pets, professionals with busy lives and older people who appreciate the friendly community and easily-accessible shops and amenities."

this story isn't all it seems

https://thebenyonestate.com/community/stories/the-de-beauvoir-deli-co

Summary

The Benyon Estate is a unique community in London's Borough of Hackney. Made up of a mix of the highest standard of residential and commercial property,

at least "Benyon Estates" didn't forget what properties they owned  this is what the horrific and "racist" Hackney Council did  & forgot about a whole road of boarded up houses many years ago .... squatters were eventually allowed to buy the properties

The tenants of course are not exactly poor but why "pour water on a fire they have lit"

If they're being directed to food banks it doesn't suggest to me that they're 'not exactly poor' any more.
