Reminding people that you don't need an apostrophe before an "s" to make a word plural, just an "s".

Also, the difference between "there", "their", and "they're"; and "were", "where", and "we're".

Mine would be European football clubs, no matter how obscure. From KI Klaksvik in the Faroes to Barcelona.

Other than that, the Italia 90 World Cup would be a shoe in.

I once managed 17 out of 19 in a blokes specialist subject, he beat me to the answer on one so I gave him that and one I  couldn't remember the answer. SS would probably guess the subject matter

I'd have been no good, Raven, thinking he was born in Pennsylvania instead of Minnesota LOL.

Trust me Filo, you’d have to ‘endure’ (I guess you meant ‘enjoy’ and it autocorrected lol) much more obscure stuff than that.
I’m not a fan of US Punk, Ramones excepted.
Although I did spend a night in that phone box on Sheffield station after seeing the Dead Kennedy’s at the Leadmill.

On a ‘Celebrity’ edition of Mastermind, they had Tony Parsons (NME Punk journalist) answering questions on UK Punk.
I got every question right, bar one on the New York Dolls, who were Yanks, but managed by Malcolm McLaren for a while.
Tony seemed bamboozled by every question as if he’d never heard of punk rock, despite being on the front line of it.
If I didn’t know better, I’d suggest he was out of his tree on drink and drugs as Punk exploded, the whole time.

Glad you endured all the Punk racket Filo but having to have ECT as well is taking it a bit far.

One chap's specialist subject was Jethro Tull, a band I've been obsessed with since I was 17.  (Seeing them again on Sunday)
I got all bar one of his Qs right

Robert Harris' Cicero Trilogy.

Good call. That would be my second choice. That's a brilliant series of books. Educational but wrapped in a proper page-turning thriller.
