When, and only when they reduce to affordable levels would I consider buying one. Even then, it will be a second hand one.
A friend of mine took delivery of her brand new Tesla 3 last week.
She ordered it before Xmas before the 7 grand price drop. That’s gotta hurt.

Interesting to hear that Tesla will be rolling out a baby model 3 esque hatchback. And Musk is going aggressive with pricing, rumoured to be between 18 and 22k.
That will be hard to take for all those forking out 40 grand on a Vw id3 and similar. Vw and the like are in for a shock if this does happen. They simply won’t be able to compete without dropping prices.

it will be interesting to see what Tesla come up with, due to the excessive pricing model they have no taken a hold of the market like the threatened or wanted.
i think all the later convertors, especially the European manufactures will be taken aback when the Chinese start to vigorously market their cars in Europe, have you seen how many cars MG have sold in the last couple of years including the supposedly excellent MG4.

For those like me struggling with the thought of shelling out on an ev, recent news suggests the eu is drafting plans to allow sales of ICE cars that run on carbon neutral fuels beyond 2030. interesting.
