for obvious reason to Tory's are wearing tin hats  (and ear muffs as usual) so no chance of them going on "terra firma"   they just have the "terror" bit  :)

I have been told Labour are out canvasiing today (doing a "PH" test you might say) on the seats they need to turn "from blue to red " to get a workable majority

So let's see if anyone else has had a knock today or even next Saturday.

Personally I will not entertain anybody whatever party peddling false promises   and in order to embarrass them will ask them how much they will pay me to vote for them --

Depends how you look at door step Labour canvassing .

Whilst the current Labour Party doesn't exactly inspire me my local MP Stephanie Peacock is a good solid hardworking performer .

No axe to grind with Stephanie on my doorstep but if Keith happened to walk down my garden path he'd leave with a flea in his ear .

It would be a very serious situation if Keith had a flea in his ear. His first instinct would probably be to shoot it.

just imagine  Keir was actually named "Jack" and the flea spoke to him as he landed in his ear and simply said "Hi Jack" true to form Starmer would prosecute him

My, or should I say the MP for my constituency sadly, is Mark Spencer,  the village I live in is full of the blue rinse Tory brigade. Labour really wouldn't go door to door here. I only hope the other areas in my constituency can see sense they certainly wont here

Explain that you haven't the first idea what political canvassing is about, without saying you haven't the first idea what political canvassing is about.

Is that addressed directly to me?
Just in case it is, my idea of political canvassing is an attempt to meet with individuals using amongst other methods, door to door in an attempt to identify potential voting patterns, to identify individuals who may be open to political persuasion to vote for a political party and try to ensure voter turnout. It can also identify areas where a more intense campaign could be launched to persuade voters to vote for a political party.
As I said that would be absolutely pointless in our Tory dominated village but please correct me if I am wrong

No Raven, it wasn't aimed at you. Apologies for the misunderstanding.
