From the sound commentary and the extended highlights Wimbledon seemed to have the better of the second half and some scoring chances too - more shots and twice as many on target.

What did those there see as the reason for this?

For me after 65 to 70 minutes we dropped far to deep and resorted to hoofing it out of defence with the ball coming back again

No quality chances really. Defence looked comfortable all game for me.

That we're not really very good and we can't dominate a poor to middling side for extended periods of time?

We consciously chose not to dominate or push on for more, we stuck with the cautious formation and position in our own half and didn't put any fresh legs on to try and stretch the game. And they should have equalised with the last kick - how they missed that is a miracle and our poor display and cautious approach would have been undone.
