The whippersnappers still yelling for a change at the top, be careful what you wish for.

Oh thats right! Everyone else apart from grandpa Terry would see us do a Bury if we didn't have him in charge. How lucky we are.

I think people want some change yes, it’s ok having a team to watch but it’s not ok to pay good money to watch crap each week with no sign of improvement, you could argue it has actually got worse

Back on topic. From an article written by Alan Nixon upon reports the ownership are looking at selling assets to resolve the immediate cash flow.....

"It was looking all rosy for Wigan until last summer with not even a whiff of any financial issues since their March 2021 takeover by Phoenix 2021 Limited.

How things can quickly change though - the supporters of the club have had their bad luck with charlatan owners in recent years and that particular form of lightning could be about to strike again.

When it comes to selling off a club asset, you can't really think of any particular players that would be worth the amount needed to raise for the wages - especially when most clubs around the world are not in a transfer window right now.

It remains to be seen as to what the plans of the Wigan ownership are in regard to raising the cash required, but it's a worrying time especially at the business end of the season where Shaun Maloney is trying to keep the morale of his playing squad positive - this will not be helping matters whatsoever"

As Blades fans have found Saudi Princes aren't always cash rich or willing to risk their own wealth for the big gamble of Premier League riches.

Blades are also subject to a bid for their ownership from someone who on face value looks like another chancer. Probably unlikely to get through the EFL tests.

I think there's five Championship clubs currently under sanction for one financial violation or another.

I suppose I had better start saving some money up to back them yet again for The Title as they will have once again another groundhog season winning the title .

Amazingly they are three times winners in recent years of Division One   2015-16 .  2017-18 ,  2021-22 .... and presumably   2023-2024 ?????

Chickens finally coming home to roost

funny you post that as one manager of the "Blue Roosters" chickens out of the club .

Conte with his continually moaning and being unsatisfied with every team he manages would be a great addition to this site,
