The French are Revolting!

Yes I know they stink of Garlic! But they are actually kicking off over Macrons attempt to raise the State Pension age from 62 to 64!
ITV news claimed the Pension budget is 330 Billion Euros per annum in France , we look to be spending approximately 120 billion Euros per annum.
One million took to the streets today and inflicted several hundred million euros of damage in typical French revolutionary fashion!
From the news it looked as bad as the Poll Tax Riot in the late 80’s

They certainly needed a lot of eaux in Bordeaux last night.

As Mrs Coleman said they ain't getting British pounds to fund their pensions anymore.

If them figures are true I can see why Macron did what he did they will be bankrupt very soon.

But that's what you get when you spend approx 56% of GDP, on the state, the French have always spent more than us, we very rarely have been above 40% in normal times,.

I see there has been chaos in quite a few cities in France today as masses turned out for the May Day marches which all became riots, 108 Police Officers needed hospital treatment,I was watching a you tube recording that just went on and on, Police officers in full Riot gear clashing with Extremists and a lot of Joe Public out in goggles and gas masks! Chuffing marvellous!
