Ditch the black kit and play in the blue and white hoops would be a good start.
Now that is a yes from me. 100%

They could play in the buff with just a jock strap on for me as long as we win, anyway it might attract a bigger female following, its time we were more modern thinking.

Plenty of young females following the Rovers these days, Brian. However, I don't think it's anything to do with the players.

They've all heard that me, BB, and Wolfie will be there.

Are you the three stood in dirty rainmacks with hot pies resting on your laps?

It’s just that me & Superintendent Corner of the Yard are looking for such types.

You see, the Free Masons are an all encompassing body if you catch my drift.

Crewe play tonight - although will probably be mainly second string and youth players in the EFL Trophy game.  Not sure if they have to play a certain number of first team players or not....?

I think they have started with only 5 from their last game against Derby and have made 5 subs at half time - currently 1:1 in game with Newcastle U21's with 70 minutes gone...

They won 2:1 - although the Newcastle defending was poor to shocking........... let's hope we defend better.

What a sickener.
It looks as though we had a very good 2nd half based on the stats up until that 92nd min.
We really do have to tighten up at the back.

Colchester is a must win game again on Tuesday.

I said this to the sites "spiritual leader"  ;) pre-match

"Crewe have had some really good results -- remember Stevenage last season when we didn't believe they were any good early on."

Maybe their were two good sides on that pitch today ---  time will tell  :scarf:

We played well today. Very unlucky to lose a game against a good team that probably should have ended a draw. No need to over react to this one. We’ve played worse and won this season.

Gotta keep focusing on the positives and just find a way of managing the game better defensively.

It’s very frustrating and is broadly consistent with most of our away performances. Going and losing by a single goal. Going to somewhere like Crewe with their strong home record and losing to a 95th minute goal is on the face of it a decent result and performance.

It’s still getting incrementally better. We are still on an upward curve. But it’s still the same issues that hold us back, not least a soft as shit defence. It’s not been good for 3 seasons now. We almost never manage a clean sheet. McCann himself has acknowledge it needs to improve and I’d say this has got to be a priority. Not necessarily buying anyone new as the squad is already huge but we need to sort this out.

In case you haven't noticed Notts Counties sieve defence conceeded 4 goals at Wimbledon today lost 4-2 - their suicidal defence gave away 2 penalties

as Gaz sad (who plagurised my post) Wimbledon plus the Iraqui International are a good team

thought for the day
how could a team who I have faith in being involved in a relegation struggle (Newport ) win today ??
