I thought I saw something a few weeks ago about it not being handball if the ball hits a defenders body first then an arm or hand second.
If that is right then PSG shouldn’t have even awarded a pen.

I was listening to talk sport on the way back yesterday and they were saying the guidelines are if it’s deflected off your own body and going away from goal it should be a pen.

It’s hard for the ref to have all the details in his head when the games in play for things like this. But surely the VAR guys have no excuse. They see it have the handball rule on screen and don’t refer it for a check. It’s crazy
