I thought the lad was outstanding yesterday he seemed to cover every blade of grass, he was tenacious in the tackle and very direct with his runs & got shots off when running at pace & also delivered some decent crossesinto the box. I was really excited by his performance. I’m sure he must be one of our present squad that will be offered a new deal.

That’s good to hear. Think the lad has lots of potential.

I've been a big fan of his right from the start. Occasionally a bit weak defensively but otherwise a very good player, who always looks to get the ball under control and play rather than taking the easy option and just heading/lumping it forwards.

He'd be top of my list for a new long term contract

Another very astute signing by the much maligned Gary McSheffrey I believe.

Lets hope we can hang onto him come the summer.

Yes me too, he was our best player before picking up the injury last season, he is now looking like the player he was last season & one of the first names on the teamsheet. Liked listening to his commentary aswell, staying positive during the rubbish served up, very aware tactically, & commited to the cause.

From memory he was the one and only signing from the gent we employed as our Scotland scout for a few months. Good legacy you would have to say.
