How awful. There's never a good time for anything like this to happen but the poor bloke was bringing in the new year just a fortnight ago.

They don’t have any shame, or any other redeeming traits.

Is there a new directive on major health incidents in crowds? A game a few weeks ago was abandoned for a supporter who had fallen seriously ill, and the Bolton game this weekend.

I'm just thinking back to Lincoln away a couple of years ago where a home fan had a serious health issue and we had a 30min delay but then went on to finish the game?

Reg not heard of one maybe it’s the outcome of the incident that dictates if the game continues. It seems to becoming more often.
It was pleasing to hear at MTO that we now have 4 AEDs in the stadium, of course this doesn’t guarantee anything but it certainly helps.
I managed to talk our employers into having an AED at all of our offices around the UK

Thanks RD, it does seem to be a more regular occurrence which is worrying! Not heard about the AEDs so that's good news, so with the right kit and the number of people in the crowd hopefully first aid trained, and the staff around the ground, that gives someone a good fighting chance.
