Quite apart from the overwhelming stats lending him to being our player of the year, never missing a game or a pass - his insightful interviews showing maturity and a great team ethic - I had the great pleasure today to be stood with his grandfather and his dad at the match. Two great guys, incredibly proud of Owen, and no wonder that lad is so well grounded.

I personally think he has done enough to earn the respect of both the fans and managerial team.  He has shown heart, drive, ambition and desire and I would (personally) like to see him around the cub for a few seasons more......... if the pen is available
