Heading for Morecambe on Saturday, for those that are going take your waterproofs you are going to need them. Heavey rain and fails are expected.

Forecast poor from tonight at Midnight
Rains then heavily for many hours and only 4 hours it seems not to rain until 0600 Saturday morning

After that no rain all Saturday,  and indeed Sunny intervals from 13 00 till game over

Source Meteo who supply BBC Weather

However good the forecast is though how much of the 26 ish hours of rain can their Pitch stand ?

Also Gales are thrown in mixture too

Edit .... Average wind speed gusts through game 45mph omg

That has really cheered me up Wolf. Thanks for that lovely weather forecast.
Nothing like a day at the coast with pouring rain and a Gale blowing.  Terrific.

On a serious note if it was off when the heck does the game get played?  Are we going to have 2 midweek games in one week.
There could be a few clubs who will be in the same boat if games are off this Saturday.
( No pun intended with the word boat )  we might need one soon.

From a totally selfish perspective I’d love it to be off as I’m away until Sunday

The yellow weather warning is for wind not rain. And Morecambe appears to be right in the edge of that yellow zone, with Wales and Cornwall bearing the brunt of it. It is in a bay too so could be somewhat sheltered.

See here: https://youtu.be/O6N6eFElzSM?si=Z2kpH6U7Sq38E4S4

That’s my optimistic forecast Campsall!

I did say (in my defence lol) that the rain would end Saturday.

In fact it's tipped to be Sunny all during game time

Edit . from Metro right now

Not raining all day today now but starts 22.00 till 07.00 Saturday

Couple of Showers round Noon

Wind gust now predicted as 20 / 21 apart from 14.00 to 15.00 when it is at 40/41

It will rain goals

It did last time we played them - unfortunately none were in the Morecambe net...

It certainly did rain goals 3 out of 7 goals went in the Morecambe net last time we played them away. All in the first 25 mins.

There won’t be 7 goals tomorrow that is the only prediction I am making, apart from the prediction that we will win of course.   :)
