For me Maxwell got the nod today.

Great performances all over the pitch but I thought he was put a real shift in and got a goal.

Great to see so many high quality performances from our team.

I thought Joe O was outstanding today. When Woody went off, Joe seemed to me to get even better. Over the last 4 games he’s been absolutely magnificent.

The sponsors got it right today with Adelakun.

Whoever they were on Tuesday night didn’t.

Another match where nobody had a bad game. Everybody seemed to know exactly what to do and where to be. The movement off the ball was great matched by the work rate. Haks caught the eye with the early goal and assist plus he gave an excellent display of ball control at times.
It could have gone to at least any of three or four players with the rest not far behind.

A tough one again but for me Joe Ironside take’s the accolade.

Without him as our lunch pin up top the whole team would not function as it does.
His work rate is phenomenal. His hold up play is superb. He has so much upper body strength. He takes a hammering from defenders every time he crosses that white line.
He also knows where to be in the box and scores goals. Another today.

2nd Adulukan, unplayable at times.
3rd Wood, totally dominant at the back, a proper leader.

But everyone else played well. Our full backs Sterry & Maxwell, also Olowu was again excellent.

Bailey & Craig just so solid and expressive in the middle of the park,
and Westbrooke played the attacking midfield role very effectively.

Molly was both extremely productive and frustrating as he is most
games. But when he gets it right is so creative with assists & can be a match winner.

All the subs did well, Anderson, Rowe, Waters, Hurst.
Broadbent came on late and saw little of the ball.

Didn’t even mention our Keeper TLT
Just shows how dominant our performance was.
Everything he had to do he did very well. He never had a difficult save to make all afternoon. ( maybe the one that hit the bar late ish on which beat him )

He made a good save low to his right in the first half Camps after which Sterry was clattered by the Accy player trying to get to the loose ball.

The first 10 mins or so we're a mare for Maxwell. Every touch went wrong and I think he even got an accidental smack in the mouth. I said to my mate, has he been on the sherbert last night?

He then went to the sidelines and stripped off his undershirt and from that moment he was imperious and obviously capped it off with a beautiful crafted goal.

Impossible to choose today. Could have been anyone on the pitch.

Westbrooke deserves a special mention for slotting in and being quietly efficient. And that little pass for Maxwell's goal was a beauty. So easy just to loft a chip into the general direction of the six yard line, but the lad has vision and saw the killer ball instead.

I’m glad someone mentioned this. Had a bit of Mesut Ozil about him in that position.

Can’t call it. Simple as that.

If you sit back and analyse it, how can you pick one man out when everyone was supported in whatever they did. The back 4 were solid for 95% of the game, the midfield just worked together like a well oiled machine, the front 3 were at their probing best. Certain individuals seemed to have that bit of extra ‘class’ about them but only because others allowed them that freedom to perform. Impossible to name one.
