So the real aim is to limit Londoners choice to be independent and travel in the mode of transport of their choice, and the most convenient to them. The last time the Labour Party were in power they were on the cusp of having the outside lane on the motorways going into London reserved for certain people, including politicians to get important people to where they were going quickly while the surfs queued in the other slow lanes. I knew kids when I was young that saw the sea for the first time on a school trip, is that what you want? go back a hundred years and shred everything our forefathers fought for. Why not introduce large tax rises on private jet travel instead.
