Excellent throughout the game today - in their view we are the best side to visit Colchester all year and were unlucky leaving with only a draw, Broadbent their pick throughout the game which I agree with.

But best wingers in the league ??

This is my view - Molly - simply awful, gave the ball away time after time, usually leading to attempts on our goal, powder puff shots and crosses - Gibbo, good first half but no sympathy whatsoever with sending off - schoolboyish lack of discipline which could and nearly did cost us the game.

Clifton - who I have slagged before - IMMENSE throughout, Broadbent, Sterry and Maxwell very good today.

Neutrals who watched the game with me all very complimentary about both sides - 2025 will be a good year for Rovers.

The Colchester Fans I spoke to walking out thought it was a great game.

We were good without the ball for large parts. Our fans generally look at what we do with the ball and don’t realise there are too sides to the game.

In isolation it’s a good result, he needs to now stick with that formation on Wednesday, and put hurst in for Gibson, if we stick with this formation now we will finish top 3 comfortably
