One thing from a preparation point of view that I think is sub optimal is that we send Copps to watch the teams we are playing but nearly every time he’s watching a team we are playing at home play at their home ground and vice versa. If we are playing a team at home there is so much more value in watching them play away in preparation. Teams set up differently home/away. Especially when they are playing teams near the top of the table. A small detail but so much more to be gained by doing things more thoroughly.

This is our best team, he needs to stick with it for a while and get a bit of rhythm

                           Sharman-Lowe
Sterry             Olowu.       McGrath.    Maxwell

                Bailey.              Westbrooke.

Hurst.                 Clifton.              Molyneux.

                         Ironside.

With the players we have at our disposal, this is the closest to the 10-in-a-row team template with regards to types of players in certain roles.

On current form we would get nothing with that lineup.

I think you’re wrong.

Grant does too as todays lineup is as close as you can get to this,
Westbrooke obviously not fit enough yet and it’s a flip of the coin currently between Gibson and hurst but other than that he’s gone with the same
Lineup

For me Hurst offers the more similar ‘in behind’ threat that Adelakun did. But Grant will strengthen that spot and it needs it
Happier with today’s lineup, hopefully a solid base to build on.
