Fergie at Posh

A loss to Bristol Rovers today which leaves them 19th, 5 points from the drop zone. Could Fergie be sacked tonight? Should we be worried?

Nice to see them struggle :scarf:

No we won't be worried. Clyffe wouldn't go there anyway as he doesn't get on with DMac

They’ve already overdone the recycling. I can’t imagine that doing it again would go down well with their fans. It might be rational if a they had not already sacked McCann twice.

I don’t think it will happen either but how many times have they sacked Fergie?

Looks like they’ve tried to be too idealistic with their recruitment. Loads of unproven young players from lower levels. And they got £3 million+ for Burrows in the summer.

Ferguson recently said publicly they’re the softest group of players he’s ever managed. No senior leaders to drag them out of it and they’ve won 1 of their last 10. Burton below them in incredible form. Looks really bad.

Did he not sign these 'soft' players?

Can always rely on Darren Ferguson to publicly chuck players he's signed under a bus to try and shield himself from the flak.

Daddy’s little soldier, I was in hospitality when he was introduced to us as the new manager, I wasn’t impressed then and I never changed my mind about. If his surname had of been Smith,Brown,Jones etc I very much doubt he would have had as long a professional career as a player as he did, and zero chance of becoming a manager. His father was one best managers in the history of football

Ferguson is one for jumping before he's pushed as we know. Think there are a few financial troubles at Posh so he'll probably walk if he realises he won't get the backing he wants for next season.

Currently 2 points clear of the relegation zone and without an away win in 12 games, losing 10 of them. Not looking too clever for them. Shame.

Surely Grant's next move is Hull before Peterborough and back to us to bounce back from our championship relegation in 2028.
