Definitely Whaley kicked sterry, noticed how quickly walked away from sterry, he must have thought that one of the officials must have seen it.
Yet again another ref, only 2nd or 3rd game in efl, who made some strange decisions.

How was Whalley not given a red for the reaction on Sterry??

By reaction do you mean stamp. THAT was your red card right there.

I thought it was a kick whilst they were both tangled on the ground, a total sending off offence.

Yes, he kicked out at Sterry and only got a yellow.

It was the same with the big lad (elbow) for Morecambe on Tuesday. You either get no booking if the ref/lino missed it or a red if the incident is seen, both got yellows?
not seen any replays but looked as bough whalley kicked out, can’t tell from view regarding red card but did look as though he lunged in but going back to Tuesday their big lad caution wasn’t a elbow
