Not sure Bobby will have many thoughts beyond the big game tonight. Last minute winner from a corner anyone? Go on Bobby lad!

Bessie his distribution is the equal to any of the others, probably Anderson is the best by a long shot over the others with Bailey, all the rest have had some right boo boo's I haven't seen Bobby make , some of the best through balls to the oppositions strikers this season have been self inflicted a four yard trap of a ball at Chesterfield very memorable along with a couple of cross oh lay  balls and the direct pass at Harrogate.  We should add beating the badge on the chest in front of supporters to the coaching manual, it makes people forget, I hope the coaches don't.
Seriously I can go along with what you say probably 50/50 whether he stays the ball in Bobby's court as much as the clubs with offers on the table.
Do I want him to stay? yes very much as both parties can flourish, but he is his own man and knows his worth to others now, and I want the best for the club as well as the player and like Liam Raven, he will probably be a lot better off financially than here, even in non league, I think you would get a surprise like me.

Anderson is better at some things but he simply does not have better distribution than McGrath.

nc, go back and have another look at Tom's pass out of defence to Tommy Rowe for Biggins' headed goal and tell me that McGrath has ever played a better defence-splitting pass.
Maldini like that pass from Tom!

Extra time. Bobby made one excellent block in the first half and looked assured when called upon but Chester look fitter overall and are starting to threaten more in extra time.

2-1 Chester at full time. Chester quality and fitness told in extra time. Bobby did ok, didn't give much away and made a great block in the first half but equally I don't think the Chester strikers will be having nightmares if they ever have to play against him again. Hopefully the experience of a big playoff game does him good.

My view he looked nervous at the start as the team as a whole did, one pass attributed to him was actually Mann the commentators getting them mixed up twice.
He won most of his headers and as people have already said made some really good blocks and tackles.
Both teams had periods of ascendancy but the Buxton substitutes lost them momentum just before the 90 minutes and in extra time when Chester brought on experience.
A tight game well contested and he can leave Buxton knowing that he did his best for them while there and has had a really good time there playing every minute of every game, and always doing well in a back line that was the foundation the team relied on with a good few clean sheets.
He got on the end of one cross near the end seeking an equaliser and got a great header in back into the goalmouth that  didn't have the luck to find a Buxton player in the area and looked stronger as the game went on and played very well the second half and extra time probably the stand out player getting to the ball first and great defensive work.
The game by the way was a really good watch on a lively pitch with at times an exaggerated bounce which both sides found difficult at times.

Sven  my prediction is, don't go to the bookies, your no Mystic Meg, and will lose money. His agent has offers higher already but he is still contracted here at the Rovers so has not had any direct discussions with anybody since the Rovers in January when he was told go out on loan and smash it, he has.
Other clubs are just waiting for the Rovers to make his situation clear, but even in January he had the option of more clubs than just Buxton but chose them because they were full time and the manager was keen for him to go there, and has been great with him since he went through the door, it's been a great loan and has given him a lot of game time and confidence in his game after his injuries, nothing but positives since the day he went through their door, with a great set of lads he has fitted in with and an owner and manager who have supported him to the full and a set of supporters who sing his name and love him there.

Playing every minute of every game is a big positive if nothing else.

There's no reason why he can't go into preseason and compete for a place in the squad.

DBR correct, but first of all the club and him have to agree a contract for next season, I hope he does.
As for Buxton I might add I enjoyed every visit there, a great little ground good facilities catering the pies especially, and a nice town and area to see, with the standard of the actual  games good and enjoyable to watch, and the better half can enjoy a nearby trip to the shops and a coffee while you enjoy your real passion of football.

If he stays with us - Would he go on loan to York or are they too ambitus ?  In the unlikely event Halifax made it second choice ?
