I might go to my local in Bradford. Hopefully they will be celebrating promotion as well.

I’m not going but surely it’s Hooters so you can get a proper good helping of chicken.

Hi there,
I hope you don't mind the message!
I just wanted to check if you needed a pub to stop off at on the way to the Notts County game on Saturday?
We've got a great pub that hosts away fans every weekend, and would love to welcome you down pre-game. We've got all the sport on TV, and we're on the way to the stadium so it's a great point to have a quick beer or a bite to eat.

If you're interested, just let me know roughly how many are likely in your group & I'll make sure we're staffed up for you!
If you can't stop this weekend, I'd love to catch up at the end of the season because we have loads of pubs to suit every fixture so it would be great to work with you guys next year.

Arrive at train station, table booked at Hooters followed by Trent bridge inn, then to ground.

You’re right, forgot about that one and I have been a few times - it might be 3 stops to the ground now!

I thought it was a great place even though there was only 1 Narrow Boat inside at the time

Loved the Bridge (inside the Pub) over Canal and the Boat

Beer selection and quality was A1 , the food was very good and I bet the Beer Garden with its impressive canopy will be rammed on Saturday

This will be my first visit to Meadow Lane and that looks a good shout Wolfie, thanks.

Any advice from anyone about parking?

If you have plenty of time try Park and Ride and Supertram it in ?

Think it's J26 Phoenix Park.

I think Pub will impress you inside and out.

If you use Park and Ride you can use Bus Pass but ask someone for assistance. I picked the one I thought it was and got it right.

I got on down the Line but there will be employees to advise at first stop. Free and no traffic jams

I used P&R v Forest in the 1-4 Game so it has good memories for me lol

Can't wait for this.  Meeting up with Gazlaz for the 8.20 train at Donny along with my lad and his mates.
Bit of brekky in Notts and then ease my way into a few drinks.
Hopefully back in Donny to party and celebrate the title win.

I should explain as I think I've made sense only to find I didn't

Bus Pass . Is valid for Free travel to and from Park and Ride

In Sheffield you show Bus Pass to Ticket Collector on train so that's easy

But in Nottingham there are just Machines to buy your Tickets from. They honour the Free travel but you have to Select the right option to get a Ticket

That's what I was trying to say but didn't

** However there may be a manned Ticket Office at Phoenix Park which will make things simpler or as I implied in my earlier post  some Staff milling about to ask

I think I did it this time  :scarf:  :scarf:

Anyone using a bus pas on Nottingham trams simply has to have it scanned at the scanner at the tram stop BEFORE starting your journey
There has been a problem with the scanners not recognising the pass in that case simply show your valid pas if a ticket inspector gets on. The problem though appears to have been sorted
There is also a huge P&R at Hucknall which is the terminus for the Northern leg takes about 35mins to arrive at Nottingham station then a 15 - 20mins walk to Meadow Lane.
Good luck

looks like it just across from train station, was gonna go in industry which is also just up from station as you come out main doors at front turn right and it’s just up on the right and canal is opposite and just round corner

No you are going the roundabout way and coming in from Colwick. I don't know the road situation around there it's the wrong side of the City for us

Yes, all todays EFL games are on.

I paid up this morning and am currently watching Leeds losing at Plymouth, before our game later.
