We (particularly myself) are quick to slag refs - however big respect for his actions yesterday - text copied from FB
Matt Corlett he refereed today's game between Crewe and Walsall, on 11 mins the crowd started applauding for a young Crewe fan who had sadly died, when the ball went out of play for a throw in, he stopped the game from restarting and joined in the applause encouraging the players to do the same, what an incredible gesture, massive respect from me, he will not get any recognition for this human act of respect
