Friendlies 25/26 Season

Are we due a proper overseas tour, Spain, Portugal or somewhere similar.

Reckon a few fans would make it fun.

There's a bar called 'Doncaster pub' in Malawi. That'd be a good home from home for an overseas tour...I'll try to attach a photo of the place!

The Netherlands perhaps? Haven't the youth team recently been over there?
Would be nice to see Rovers play overseas!

Clearly Northern Ireland would be the most feasible option. Surprise we haven't done this yet. Decent enough standard and with McCann it would help build up a profile over there for those lads who do leave that league.

Was thinking the same myself today , I think its important we support our local clubs in some capacity but the bigger friendlies are very unimaginative for me. I'd be happy with an away trip to Hibs or Hearts easily accessible by train . Dresden get massive support in the German 3rd division that would be pretty awesome. Come on Silent Majority get on it please the fans deserve a decent away day for the support this season, somewhere sunny would be nice

If they went to Northern Ireland they could play newly promoted Bangor, a certain team from East Belfast, and David Healy’s team from Windsor Park, who Grant McCann turned out for at the very end of his playing career

If we play some local teams I think going for Selby Town over Armthorpe would be a good idea.
It’s a part of Yorkshire in which we could raise the club’s profile and attract more fans.

Doncaster City. They're in the same league as Armthorpe now.

With the Willy McKay connection, it could be a little feisty.

Congratulations to Worksop Town on their 2-0 play off final win against Guiseley today and promotion to national league north. Possible pre season game there?

Personally wouldn’t want us to have any part in the promotion of that circus.

Me neither. Only time we should ever play them is if we have to, which won't happen any time soon.
