Now pre season is over I just want to say how nice it’s been not to have a load of randoms turning out of us or training for their fitness. I like Grants style get the signings mostly done early before we play a preseason game and then don’t invite a load of hangers on.
Some years we’ve had half a squad on trial with no intention of signing most of them. Can’t see how it ever helps the contracted squad.
Only negative is figuring out who is who is a bit of entertainment in the pre season games.

Grants way of doing business is fantastic get the lads in early getting them to gel together.
Means we should hit the ground running and be in a better position than teams that are only just finishing signings now and in the future
