Two very good teams - decent match.

Different gravy to Exeter.

The financial chasm in this league is there to see. Stockport one up at half time. Goal by Malik Mothersille who they had just paid a million quid for, with assist by Oliver Norwood who they signed last summer off the back of playing 27 times in the Premier League for Sheffield United.

Their last accounts for 23/24 season showed a loss of £7m. I think we are still losing around half that amount each season, which Terry is pleased to cover seemingly.

I find it interesting that for the first time in what i can remember there has been no draws, just 12 wins and 12 defeats in the first set of matches.

His ball in for the second goal was his trademark

That was an interesting game. Stockport had far less possession, materially fewer shots and touches in opposition box, and their keeper made more saves. Yet they won 2-0.

Always gives me the “Willys” when we have most possession. Horrible stat. Meaningless and indicates your fannying around ability, (unless you have Xavi and Iniesta et al in your team)
Good win for Stockport 10k + crowd.

Oluwu on bench, hopefully he’s got a 3 year deal, 2 years of nowt and a 3rd year decent.

TSL letting 2 in, come on lad, check out the DN4 clean sheet.

Rob Street, we did miss him tbf.

I doubt either of them missed us. Rob Street playing well for Lincoln and having a big part in the first goal, although his shot was deflected in as an own goal.

We'll see what Lincoln do with the windfall they're about to receive for sale of Makama to Norwich but I can't see Street being allowed to leave any time soon unless it's for silly money.

They’re rumoured to be getting over £1m for Makama.
This comes after selling Erhahon to Bolton for £750k.

I thought Bolton was the best team in that match ..but points only count .
Sharman Lose’s distribution was a joy to watch especiaLly the accuracy of his long kicks like those he used to serve Molls with in the deep areas of the opponents half .

Was surprised to see that Joe O wasn't in the starting line-up.  His best form for Donny came when he was a regular starter and with those starts came consistency.... wish him well nonetheless.

He was in rehab from his injury.

OK - but fit enough to play if needed...?
