I think he knows he's on borrowed time. Had an awful end to last season and hasn't started this at all well.

Spoke to a few who have been realistic about it having been a bit of a golden period under Clough and grateful for it but thinking it might be coming to an end and others who were ranting about losing ‘to a very poor team’. Even heard a ‘likes of Doncaster’ comment.I overheard a very different verdict walking back to my car after the match.A boy said to his Dad “We’ll just have to beat Chesterfield on Tuesday”Dad replied “We won’t beat the Spirerites, we’re rubbish. He’s made useless signings and he should have gone at the end of last season”.
Rubbish game. Two very poor teams was a comment I heard
