We don't have huge fences and I hope we never do. They didn't stop Millwall fans piling over all those years ago. There's no point squeezing fans together when, we simply don't have to. When demand is such, then the club have and will balance things out considering cost, safety and logistics. I think the club are better placed, and more experienced than we are in maximising revenue considering additional costs for stewarding and policing. If only football fans behaved so no segregation was required at all eh!?

The many young lads who egged on Millwall soon ran away though.

I was right at the side of their fans at Huddersfield. Generally they were no bother and neither were Rovers fans. However I bet it's interesting say if Leeds visited.
If it can work in the premier league why not here?Liverpool have approx. 2 or 3 vertical rows of seats sheeted off between home and away fans in the Anfield Rd end of the ground. You never see or hear of any bother and they have minimal stewards/police between the segregation. When you compare it with what we do you would think the away fans are alien creatures from out of space. Way over the top.
