This part of your post I 100% agree without question. The first part however referring to our national flag is purely political, not relevant and merely imparts your opinion. Please don’t mix the two or keep your opinionated comments on non football matters separate and elsewhere. Just saying in MY opinion.

So take football out of context with society? Unfortunately it doesn't exist in a vacuum, the current climate of race hatred is being reflected here, and it needs to be combatted no matter where it comes from. If you act like a tool, prepare to be called a tool. So it could be argued that yes, it was “deserved”. While one accepts his acknowledgement that he should not have made it political, having done so and inferred anyone with anything to do with Reform is racist, it is to be expected that something comes back and not simply left to pass as a free hit.

For the record, the comment aimed at Jordan was vile and the fool who said it clearly evidenced any lack of grey matter. He’ll get and deserve everything that’s coming.
