As much as I'd hate to see Rovers relegated given the choice I'd take a win at Wembley over staying up.

The previous wins at Cardiff and Wembley are great memories that will last my lifetime.

I've no huge qualms about watching Rovers play in the 4th tier (I'm used to it).

My answer would be entirely different if we were currently struggling in the division below and at risk of losing our Football League status.

My first thought/instinct was survival, no question, but then I thought about it.

If we could keep the full squad next season I would take a win at Wembley, go down, rip L2 to bits next year for another promotion season.

Those thinking survival because we would lose Mols/Bailey etc........you sure survival is going to be enough to keep em??? I think we need a mid to top half finish to keep em. :chair:

If we go down, there's no way we'll keep any of our better players; and we certainly won't be ripping L2 to bits.

Going down would be a disaster, it's survival every day of the week. We'd be in a mess if we were back in L2.

Both.. ideally.

But it wouldn’t be the end of the world not to win that trophy.  Relegation avoidance is realistically the priority here.

Worst case scenario is relegation and getting to Wembley only to lose..  no thanks.!
