At 3 nil we went for the annihilation instead of killing the game and frustrating them.
We've got no one to control the pace of the game and doesn't help with weird substitutions.

At 3-1 we stopped doing everything we were doing at 3-0. We allowed their 2 best players in Smith & Taylor the freedom of the pitch for that last half hour. I agree the subs were poor, but Robinson should have been on at 3-0, not 3-2. Gutted & angry but we really should have been 5-0 up before they scored. Poor management from the players & the manager cost us the 3 points. Special mention for Gotts, absolutely outstanding today. Robinson must start on Tuesday.

With four or five exceptions we have a large squad of mediocre players for this league. I’m sure Grant thought he was King Midas by developing these players into something good but like Midas it’s backfired. Smaller squad of better players required.

This 100%. We won L2 with most of these players and don’t seem to have improved quality in any position on the pitch upon moving to L1. No wonder we’re being whipped week in week out.
