Hard to believe it's 68 years ago today. I remember, as a kid, living through the whole day.
Football rivalries weren't as nasty and vindictive in those days as they are nowadays. The whole country was heartbroken at the loss of those talented young kids.
A sad day.

A great team and the loans of players after the incident by other clubs showed the football world in it's best light.
Manchester United however have cashed in on it ever since especially the support for the club it generated, and had very little thought for clubs that fell on hard times or some of the players that were involved.
