I only saw one bad finish, Clifton’s. Hanlans shot was on target at power, but the defender made an unbelievable clearance. Did we create anything else?
Hanlan's mistake with that chance was staying on his feet when the defender ran into his back. That shove, and his lunge to stay on his feet, left the ball between his feet rather than a yard ahead. So he had to chop his stride to get into position to shoot, and that gave the other defender the spit second to get a block in.Short of shooting from 25 yards out, once that shove in the back had momentarily unbalanced him, he could not physically have got his shot away any quicker than he did. I await the rants of those who will look at the unarguable evidence on the match video and still insist they are right.

The simple fact his that Hanlan is not up to L1.Time after time when he does get away from the opposition, he just does not seem to know what to do next.In my opinion he is totally useless and offers nothing at all.
