On Lincoln radio there was a lot of surprise at our attendance figure .Maybe there counting season ticket holders who ain't there .

Attendances at Lincoln obviously boosted though by a family ticket providing entry for half the county.

They looked a very well organised side who always looked in control.
However moving into the championship will need a considerable investment, firstly they will need to increase their current players wages and probably release a number of their current squads fringe players.
They will have to recruit replacements who will demand much higher wages, I don’t know enough about them and what investment they have.
Guess they will start well on the back of this season, but the tough time will be as they approach the winter months, if they get any long term injuries in the first could of months they will struggle without considerable investment being available.

In projecting forwards none of us know what will happen including me of course, but I do cling to the belief that it not “all about money” and if a team wins L1 as impressively as Lincoln they should have more than an average chance of a promotee doing well next season.
