Probably old news but just to mention a Rovers link here in NZ - went to see a local side against a team from Hamilton last year and leading the attack for the opposition was Robert Gill, touted at one time as a future Premiership player! Fought a lone battle in a 4-5-1 set up and probably touched the ball twice in 90 minutes. No time for conversations but noticed my Rovers shirt and gave a big thumbs up. Top lad.

Good to see Gilly is still going, but when was he touted as a potential Premier League player? Was never a big fan of him tbh but he worked hard, good to see he's still knocking about in the game!
