Totally agree, it shouts out that we really don't believe we belong or expect to remain at this level.

I disagree. They have finally moved it to a time that will be more appropriate - just before the players enter. If people actually bought into the idea that we are trying to create something anthemic, along the lines of 'You'll never walk alone', we'd get somewhere sooner. The thought of 10,000 people belting the chorus out full belt should send spines tingling every bit as much as the Liverpool anthem. It needs time and people being made aware of what is trying to be achieved.

Maybe a song sheet and a 'Sing the impossible Dream' designated match might get this message to a wider audience. That said, knowing what many of our fans are like when this sort of thing happens it could easily be a waste of time, but without trying you'll never know.

I assume it was moved due to the minutes silence (?), but it was played at a perfect time yesterday for the first time I can remember.

It's not exactly a catchy tune, but I think it's OK. Thing is nobody joins in. Maybe given time and greater awareness it will catch on.

What it needs is everyone on their feet scarves aloft. At the moment there isn't a single section of the ground that has bought into it.

In general the atmosphere from our support was pretty dire yesterday. Has the drummer retired totally now?

That small group of Derby were making a noise all the way through the game and I only heard our fans a couple of times from the SS and  you could hear the West Stand making the effort on occasions , but they don't have the numbers.

One benefit of this was being able to hear Clough's comical effing and blinding all the way through the second half. Not a happy bunny yesterday young Nigel.

what the song needs, as ive said numerous times, is to be replaced with the version from the honda adverts.

Its a bit like how some fans keep harping on about \"we are only a pub team having a laugh\"

Why are we always so self defeating. WE ARE NOT A PUB TEAM WE ARE A TEAM PUSHING FOR A PLAY OFF PLACE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.
Why do we have to sing \"THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM\" Its as though we don't really believe what we have achieved.

Why are we always looking backward instead of looking forward?

in truth wellred i dont think ALL fans look at it that way with the pub team references. i love referring to us as a pub team in the same way that i love it when clubs call us \"little donny\" or \"expect\" to beat us.... we are an irritant to some of the bigger clubs who think we dont deserve to grace their pitch because we arent big enough...and beating them is all the more sweet. for me \"pub team\" is a term of endearment :)

Man City fans sing a song \"we are not really here\" which goes back to their dark days in League 2. Sounds ace when they sing it. Perhaps we can pinch it. We're good at pinching other teams songs lol

well if we manage to get 6 points from the next 2 games i think we should just go for something simple and scream

\"up through the playoffs
we're going up THROUGH THE PLAAAAAAAAYOFFS
we're going up the plaaaayoffs\"
