DERBY

how piss poor are they?
they are the worst team i've seen at this level by a long, long way, my only concern was that we stooped to their level, after billy scored.
did we just feel, it was job done? or are we tired?
i also felt for mr green, by far their best player, he must be shocked how bad they are!

also did anybody else notice the cheer for the j.e.t's goal, it sounded like a spanish celebration
instead of everybody screaming yeeeaaaaahhhh, it was more like goooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaal.

i think derby are definatly underperforming especially with the talent and experience in there squad.I dont think clough is up to the derby job to be honest. When leaving the game yesterday I thought they are the worst side ive seen us play and we've seen some bad ones. But maybe it was just the worst performance Ive seen against us.They may be a btter side than what they showed yesterday but the table doen't lie and yesterday they were very very poor

Derby aren't that bad a side. Having seen them three times this season they certainly have some useful players and given the right motivation, they have the potential to do better than what they are doing.

Rigo mate, that's the point. I think they ARE that bad a side. Having some useful players does not mean they are a good side. I believe their first half performance in particular was one of the worst I have seen this season and we should have been out of sight at half time - akin to Crystal Palace first half. I do agree with you, Derby have got some decent players, for example that number 4 (I think a lad called Green?), he looks decent - worth a punt?

Opinions mate, opinions. I think they were bad.

It's like that opinion you have about Martis and how radically different it is to mine!  ;)  On that particular is, just remember that I'm right and we'll be OK ;)

Anothetr example of high wages being paid for some average players, and players on very good wages not performing.

One thing about Rovers thankfully, is that they seem to have the hunger to try and get to places where they've never been before, and we're enjoying the ride.

I think Greeny was trying his hardest to make it look as though he hadn't made a mistake by leaving us. He may have a better bank balance, but he would have been richer in a footballing sense had he stayed. (Still would like to see him back where he belongs)

Savage is a strange one, isnt he.  He looks very industrious and in the thick of things, then you think of the times he's actually touched the ball and realise its not very often.  He really is The Man That Isnt There.  I think I shall refer to him as ToMTIT from now on (the \"o\" is poetic license being applied to make a word).  It seems most apt.

I think they were definately the worst team I have seen at the Keepmoat this season, having only missed the Swansea game. We have made some teams look poor but Derby managed it all by themselves. Sheffield Wednesday weren't good but they nearly achieved there objective of stopping us scoring.

I thought they were a terrible team but like already suggested; just how much is that down to Mr Clough. Every time they got the ball in defence it was booted as far as possible and our defence just said thanks very much and we built another move from the back. Who is telling them to do that? It must be Clough. They have quite a solid squad of players which are not being used to their potential, for examples look no further than Greeny being played on the right wing most of the season. As target men go there aren't many better than Hulse and Porter at this level.

I thought Barker had an excellent game for them. Either way, Oster ran the show in the Stock 'role' and we looked fairly dangerous, I was a bit worried we didn't have a better lead at half time. It didn't matter in the end thankfully.

The position that Derby are in the league shows that they are not a good team.
