I have decided to refrain from posting on here for the time being. Not for that fact that people say i'm moaning, negative etc. I can live with that.

But i'm not prepared to put up with personal insults as demonstrated by redwine, leedshayter (who basically threatened physical violence because I said Heffs is good enough at this level) and Rigo.

I'll still browse the forum, but I have no wish to become involved in petty arguments with fellow fans of the club I love and have supported since I was 6 years old.

I recognise some of my posts have been frowned upon because of my sometimes negative views, but when it becomes personal its something else. I may have retaliated with a few of the posts, but I am taking a step back to let the situation blow over.

I may be back some time in the future, if i'm welcome.

They say what comes around goes around and putting someone name on the internet is not acceptable just cos you did not agree with my opinion....
There is no doubt there are some complete f**k wits that use this forum but some very decent fans and despite all you have called me over the months I believe you come under the latter bracket.
Lets remember it is only a game of football!!!

Surely by the very fact that we post on here we are all rovers fans?
The trouble is when someone has an opinion which the so called experts on here disagree with they are branded fcuck wits.

As I say before I have no problem with people that have different opinions as long as they put a reasoned argument forward. My pet hate is when people don't have balanced opinions and only come on here with problems and no solutions.

As Nudga says, we are all talking to a screen, don't take it to heart. I cannot imagine a fist coming out from the screen and dropping anyone or being chased by a computer outside the Keepmoat. It's people we may never know/see in life. Lighten up, chill out and enjoy the banter and football debate.

Sweet Jesus, if we all agreed with everything each other said, this forum would die in a week. It's the adverse opinion that makes any forum.

As I was told by Jennyl a forum ago, you have to grow up and grow a thick skin on a forum like this, and I would add if you can't take it then don't dish it out in the first place.

You can't expect to  yawn at peoples opinions, tell them their observations don't matter cos they don't match your own and not get played like a tit.

My english teacher once told me that bulk of work doesn't always equate to quality material. Thats why I got a grade one in english with a much thinner folder..(lord that dates me..lol)

 Just because some people don't post at the drop of a hat it doesn't make their opinions any less valid.

Interesting concept though: Do you announce your withdrawal just to see whether people beg you to stay? Stating that you feel abused and threatened (but then saying that you will still browse) leaves yourself open to a FAO Mr Frost type thread.

It seems to me that a simple decision not to be bothered by it and to refrain from posting, without ever declaring it publicly is the way to go!

Anyway, F*ck it, that's my last post, I'm off .... (er ... maybe)
