Rovers goals on internet?

Was wondering if some of Rovers great goals of the last few (im talking back to 03/04 season) were available on the web if anyone knew?

I'd just like a reminder of the likes of Blundell's left foot volley away at Bury, Mulligan's screamer at Oakwell, Wellens pair at Swansea, Leo's goal at the KC etc etc.

Brilliant stuff mate. Hairs on the back of my neck standing up sort of thing.

I cant ever remember seeing Leo's goal from any other angle apart from near the back of the away end at the KC. Sublime.

And, chaps, whatever happened to the video archive idea? I still think that could end up being a pretty priceless asset. I bet even the club don't have anything like that. If we could find a good editor somewhere we could end up putting together clips to run in the concourses on match days - screamers one week, promotion goals the next. You know the sort of thing...

Sturdy did a fantastic job back in the Div 3 days, patching video clips together of Rovers goals with backing tracks. Fair raised the hair on the back of your neck it did. A better bit of PR for the club than anything that's ever come out of the official channels. I might have some of the vids somewhere; I'll post them if I can find them.

That would be immense.

I always used to enjoy the 'Season Review' videos and DVD's with all the season's goals on them game by game, with a little monthly table update to effectively take you through the story of the season. It's a shame we haven't had any of those for a few years.

As soon as the new improved 'Player' was launched, we lost about 3 seasons worth of goals that you could select at will on 'Roversworld'.

Just watched them again, and that goal of Gregg's at Palace in the cup reminded me of my thoughts that night - bloody hell, we've just given Crystal Effing Palace the scare of their lives.  Never thought for a moment that it would be like that every week, and in a few days time we could be a division above them.

I was at that Palace game with Bristol Red Rover. Top fella. When we came out afterwards we both said that that Rovers side was a damn good team. I think it was the first time I ever thought of them as promotion candidates in that season. That goal of Gregg's was sublime. It's right up there near the top of my all time great goals list.
