Im thinking of having a flag made but dont no if i will be allowed to put it up on the south stand because of the advertisment boards that are up, does anyone know if you are allowed to put them up or where i can find out if i can? just thinking of having one made as im on the very back row this coming season

Perhaps to bring in additional revenue?

I imagine if your flag blocks any advertising, you will be asked to take it down, and rightly so. Whether you agree with having the advertising there or not, it brings income into the club, and if a company pays for that space, they should be allowed to utilize it and not have it blocked. It would be like you buying a season ticket but being told the seat didn't face the pitch...

What do people use to pin the flags up to the back of the stand?

Regarding advertising, if it blocks it, you can't put it over.

The best things to use to put the flags up are magnets.

We ought to have a few up.
Could look like this soon  ;) http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs529.snc3/30040_10150193070490004_108006950003_12115196_760026_n.jpg

I think we need people with voices in the south stand first to create some atmosphere: then some flags & sod the advertisements support your team with thier coulors

Philsky bought some tiny, cheap, strong magnets and had them sewn into the four corners of the flag.  They stuck to the metal hoardings like nobody's business.

Why not appraoch the advertisers who are on the boards to sponsor the flag with their name around the edge say , tell them it will travel to away matches etc.you never know your luck ;)
