Where's SOD?

Here I am on me jollies in Turkey (Hisaronu) burning me tits off, having brought my laptop with me to keep up with events at DRFC, and voila.......no events!
Apparently SOD is still away, so I gather nothing will happen 'til he gets back. Anybody know when that will be?. It's frustrating not knowing anything about new (and existing) signings, but as has been said many times on here, \"patience is a virtue\".
Hope the Nike kit sponsorship is a goer, as it would be fantastic for Rovers (and us)to have such an iconic brand name on their shirts.
Watched some of the France/Mexico game last night and really fancied the Jalepino munchers to pip the froggies. Good game from what I saw.
Spoiled for choice over here as to where to watch the England game, it seems every bar and restaurant is showing it, so, if I can find a place doing the cheapest Efes Dark, that's where I'll be.
Back to the sun bed now for a bit of el Sol and Pink Floyd. Take care you lot and here's hoping for some positive news about players shortly.

P.S. The longer this thing with Billy drags on the more optimistic I'm becoming.

I dont know where he is that seems to be top secret haha. Usually with this kind of thing SOD identifies a list of targets and prioritieses them and JR and ROK will try and tie them up while SOD is looking abroad at other players. Im guessing this is what will have happened with friend and if anything changes SOD is only a phone call away.

Hopefully the sharp saga comes to an end soon but im ever optimistic and reportedly we have tabled a new improved bid

Relax man! You are on holiday.....why worry about where SOD is, the only reason you should be concerned is if you suspect he is pinching the good sun-beds before you.

Only one problem with that Hodgson is in South Africa and has said he is happy at fulham with Dalglish the fans favourite for the liverpool job.

Funny that SO'D should go to San Francisco. I had an idea that he'd be on a kind of \"busman's holiday\"- either watching the World Cup or looking at potential signings in Eastern Europe or Scandanavia (or wherever they're playing football at this time of the year.)

Anyone else think it's a shame he's not a World Cup pundit? He'd make a refreshing change from the usual Hansen/ Shearer platitudes and would speak more sense than anyone employed by ITV.

Well SOD has no business going to San Fransisco on his hols, he should be having a fortnight at Golden Sands where he meets a lovely lady from Donny who he falls head over heels in love with & she will only agree to marry him if he swears to never leave the beautiful town of Doncaster, there you go, speculation over!

Gillinghamrover. Just been down to Olu Deniz tonight for a drink and some grub. Don't worry you'll love it if you like:-
Fantastic weather
Beautiful mountain scenery
Fantastic food (you'll not get a better steak anywhere)
Excellent beaches
Great nightlife (in Hisoronu)
Tons of wonderful bars and restaurants (wherever you eat the Turks have got the food sorted.Brilliant)
And....the Turks are genuinely glad to see you. Yes they want your business and can be a bit pushy...but if you are polite and decline with a smile they are no problem.

Maybe Filo's been banged up in a Turkish prison or summat, so I would imagine that's why he has such a colourful opinion of the place.

I've been to Olu Deniz several times and I can confirm you will love it. It's by far the best European holiday destination I have visited.
