Just back off my hols and suprise suprise we have been drawn away on the 1st and last game of the season again, thats bollox.
Does anybody know how many other teams have got the same? if so who? also how is it all drawn, to be playing away in both of those matches is a huge disadvantage

Don't think we have done to bad in the winning one and drawing 2 of those 4 games

4 teams in the Championship have First, Last and Boxing Day away for 2010/11. We are one, Nottingham Forest are another, but can't remember the other two. I think its a safe bet that we are the only team who've had that combination for the past four seasons running.
Another thing I noticed tonight. We have six midweek home games, and only three midweek away games (not counting bank holidays), which are therefore evening kick-offs. These are the fixtures which generally draw the lower crowds, often due to much reduced away support. Another disadvantage, revenue-wise.
