Now, if 'our' bid to host the World Cup in 2018 comes to fruition, what better chance could there be to re-introduce the World to that ground breaking, evocative sounding, energising noise making atmospherical provoking.....Football Rattle.

Yes, 'We' who introduced the 'beautiful game' to the World all those years ago (1966), NOW my friends, is the time to go to our lofts, seek out that long forgotten 'friend' who would accompany us to each & every game, hold it aloft with pride & cry out..\"Behold, I have found The Holy Grail\"

different subject but i recall in the late 1970s going to games
with a team from the smoke,massive away following and had more than a reputation.

once went to Newcastle during my punk years to see Wednesday (was living up there at the time, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) and was stopped at the turnstiles and had my studded belt confiscated
