woods?????
« on August 14, 2010, 07:41:14 pm by sha66y »
cant see how this kid gets a game to be honest, he gets in the way of attacking play, and passes either sideways or back, so negative for a talented left footer,

we have gillet to hassel and break up play
we have stock to distribute
we have shiels and copps to link with attack

so apart from tippy bloody tappy non productive football, what does woodsy do that causes a few to drool???

i would rather see dumbayo on, with his jinxing attacking forays....

i will get my ear plugs and helmet ready......

like the new kid a lot  ;)

I was saying today that when Oster is fit again I feel Mr.Woods will be the one making way unless he bucks his ideas up a tad!

I have no idea. Every time he gets the ball he just slows the play down, and his set pieces are poor. Few good corners today but that's all he did for me, when Oster gets fully fit, he'd start ahead of Woods for me.

There is no doubt Oster will be straight back in when fit.
I would think that Woods and Shiels will be giving way to Copps and Oster. The young lad played well today, must be a sickener for Payne.

And the greedy git keeps taking set pieces. 2 minutes before we concede he has a free kick from an identical position and  his cross bounces before hitting the first man.

Woods place in the team uncertain but, he wasn't the only one today.

I agree though, our potency will be improved with Copps and Oster back in.

We could have ripped them apart today.

Woods getting dropped when oster comes back really. I would drop Gillet and have Stock breaking up play and Woods + Oster playing either side of him.

No way. Woods just slows down the play and gives it away to often, Gillett is a real firecracker and a work horse, way he runs back and forward all game is out standing. He would stay in first 11 for me.

I agree with you. I think its shiels that needs will be dropped for oster and copps. He hasnt been with it at all in these first two games, too many misplaced passes. I hope copps is playing at cardiff next week, he is an impact player.

When you say \"I would drop Gillet\", do you mean drop him to the bench or drop him further back in a game just infront of the defence?
