Anybody know if there are any spaces available for tmrw x2 on the supporters coach or anywhere else?

Get off at Althorpe, still a decnt walk though, unless you catch the bus from Althorpe to Glandford Park

EXACTLY 1.8 miles - but you pass 3 Pubs (or not if you see what I mean)and probably pass or meet loads of Rovers fans parked down Gunness straight as well

Main Station is 2.1 miles and there is a long hill on the way back not that that would worry most who post on here ! :X

The  manchester Airpot to Cleethorpes train does not stop at Althorpe, only the local Scunthorpe service which picks up at kirk sandall, hatfield, thorne. crowle.  think last year they stopped one of the express trains on way back at althorpe to let rovers fans get on board. if memory serves me right did they not put a bus on to take people to the station......

The coppers always stick a bus on, running from Scunny station to the ground from about 9.30am in the morning until kick-off. Therefore, if anyone is off on the train, you won't have to do any walking to the ground unless you want to.

Plus you can amuse yourself by sitting on the top deck and watching the coppers that come upstairs forget to take their helmets off, and end up ramming them over their ears when they connect with the roof.

Last season, on the way back on the train, the old bill prevented any Rovers fans from getting off at any of the stops between Scunny and Donny.
Highly annoying as I live at Kirk Sandall, and my ticket was to there. They gave there explanation that Rovers fans might get off and go back to Scunny looking for trouble.

Police overkill at the best.

They did put a bus on from Althorpe to the stadium last year
