Ger Duerden on..........

On a family visit to deepest Norfolk over the weekend and noticed the following report in the local paper :

Wroxham manager , David Batch , has drafted in ex-Burnley and Doncaster front man Ian Duerden as a temporary fix to maintain the Yachtmen's recent upturn as his club struggles with injuries to 3 strikers .

Wroxham managed a 3-2 win to maintain 2nd place in the Ridgeons Premier League in front of a crowd of 40

Apparently Ian , although not having played for a few years , is in training for triathlons , so keeps himself fit .

Batch said.......he can definitely play !!

Last I heard of Ian Duerden he was working as a fireman in Sheffield. Sounds like he's moved. Is he on jucy's patch?

Made his debut against Great Yarmouth Town last week, replacing Gary Gilmore!
