Surely you're not falling for that 'take with one hand, give with the other' hype, are you? That cash would have gone into the general exchequer that that funding would have come from in the first place. Wouldn't surprise me if it replaces a funding cut much bigger than that.

And given the economy, wouldn't that money be better used being spent on slashed services instead?
