What about them working in the snack bars?  Is that allowable?

Listen, whatever the rights and wrongs of it, I know one thing is true, and this was confirmed by a Barnsley fan at work today:.....

Jason Shackell had his worst game of the season on Monday.

I suspect the constant barrage of songs and comment about him chasing the yankee dollar rather than play for a club which idolised him might have had something to do with that.

So you're advocating singing The Skids back catalogue to put opposition players off?

Sorry lads can't agree. Being merely Welsh doesn't drive one to suicide if the fans find out. Mores the pity :chair: I am joking but I guess Viva and Muff already know that. It's very easy to be proud to be Welsh, or whatever, but in football it's not quite so simple to be proud to be Gay, as TRB would sing. Not quite a whole nation standing behind you (ooo err)

Grow up!

Chants are what come with the game I'm afriad, although we are one of the clubs furthest along with the family theme, there are still a few fans that aren't afraid to shout abuse at a game at players, this may be on their sexuality, their haircut, on some rare occasions even their race. Apart from the racist chants, I don't have a problem with what is chanted about players. Isn't \"Bum raped in prison\" one we sang at Lee Hughes at Oldham, (I think it was the 4-0 thrashing we got). Is that not just as bad?

As for the Rigo situation (I wasn't at Barnsley so don't know what was said) he has dished out his fair amount of abuse, I've had more than a fair share in recent years. Surely you have all seen the famous \"I'm Mr Croft and I'm a retard\" video on youtube? Last season at QPR in february he had a go at Rovers fans girlfreind (who had travelled from Wales) to the point where she was crying, the said Rovers fan was held back by others to prevent him getting at Rigo. I was also told he made a remark before the QPR game when the players were coing off the coach about the Late Harry Bacon (God Rest his soul) and him bieng in a wheelchair, how true this was? I don't know, I do hope it wasn't. Anyways after some of the things Ive heard come out of his mouth, it's no surprise anyone offends him. I will hold my hands up to chanting \"Rigo is a w**ker\" in the past, and on more than one occasion, but I don't regret it. Put yourself in my shoes, would you be able to bite your lip and ignore it after that video?

In this instance, \"TRB\" equates to Tom Robinson Band.

Just thought I'd clarify that one! ;)
