We did have 2 Spanish players on trial and I thought that one of them was good. Wouldn't know the names though...

Doubt we'd have let a player of his quality come and go on trial without seemingly making an attempt to sign him.

We did with the last player we had on trial who was previously at a Spanish club.David Vaughn,Sod decided not to offer him a contract.

Also his goalscoring ratio in the spanish national team upto and including U21 level was fantastic netting 27 times in 25 international appearences (8 goals in 4 games at under 21 level).
