:saywhat:

We have a serious problem here folks.:headbang:

Gartom I reckon you need to get JR and our chief executive to read this and then answer if they think our prices mag be putting people of coming to the games during this thing called a RECESSION.

Time to get their heads out of the sand ESP as the crowd numbers went up considerably when the prices came down and the marketing was right

I do appreciate that we have no control over food and drink but to be honest the smc also need to buck their ideas up by getting better quality  food and drink in for cheaper from local suppliers who we all want to support and see do well

I also appreciate that they need to bring in as much as they can to get the players we want but with the season ticket numbers so low it is quite clear that people Cannot afford to pay it's as simple as that

The fact that West Hams day out is the only more expensive than rovers is disgusting and shows that it is not sustainable for us to keep doing what we are as crowd numbers are going to keep dropping at these prices and NO marketing

Please please please Rob or Gartom get them to listen otherwiise I fear the worst I really do
:rtid:

You really have no idea , you ungrateful person,  without JR & the boards subsidisation we wouldn't have a club to support.  People like you want it all and someone else   to pay for it all. Well i for one am grateful for the boards continued support & will put  my little bit into the  pot.

For clarification a recession is defined as a contraction of the economy over two successive quarters, we officially came out of recession in January 2010, never the less growth is minuscule at the moment, and times are hard! But hey we`re all in this together, despite our primeminster having two foreign holidays this summer and our Chancellor staying in a hotel at £1K per night in America, while alot of Families have to do without!

The man's a millionaire Filo, would you begrudge JR his holidays and would you have our Chancellor kipping in some back street brothel/hostel. You take this Socialism too far, are you saying that our PM should have a weekend in Cleggy or summat ? :saywhat:
What it be ok if it was a Labour leader doing the same, of course it would be for you it seems. Check out the trips that previous Labour and Conservative leaders have taken  i.e Blair, Kinnock etc.
Perhapos if he has the odd £5,000,000 to spare , he could also give every man, woman and child in the country 10p. each.....the mind boggles. I take it that it's alright for some 'two bit' musician, footballer etc to earn the same amount in a week as the PM of this country too ?

JR is not the one telling us constantly that we have to tighten our belts and we`re all in this together, I don`t begrudge any one a holiday, even the silver spooned wall paper heir, but he could be a lot less lavish while he`s preaching to the peasants!

While I'm well aware that the country has been hit hard over the last few years, and I believe football in general is too dear, the fact remains Rovers charge what is around the going rate for entry in this division.
The season ticket offers were such that they were in the grasp of most who went regularly on a pay on the day basis and offer a big saving.
My feeling is just that a lot of people would rather spend money on other leisure activities. Take a look at how many people are in Donny town centre next Friday or Saturday, you can bet most of the revellers will have spent a lot more than £27 and not thought a thing about it. So there is money around, just that people don't want to spend it at the KMS

Got to agree.

The cost of a proper night out in \"the benidorm of the north\" must be about 70 quid or so these days, and people pay that without batting an eyelid.  That's just short of 3 cat A matches.

Follow this link to tonight's London Evening Standard sports page. An interesting article about Premiership prices and few Championship ones too.

It says Arsenal's top price ticket is £100, Manure's £55 and Swansea's £35, cheapest top price ticket is Wigan at £30. West Ham's top price is £47 and Millwall + Palace's top prices are £30.

Can someone please help me figure out how Doncaster
Rovers have got away with coming out as the second chreapest
In the championship

The whole point of the survey was to show on a average
Saturday if you rock up at the keepmoat to watch a game
How much will it cost. Now by drfc own admission
Cat c will be used sparingly so the chances are it will
Cost someone £27 to get in. as shown by Bristol city game being cat a game

Now if rovers are not embarrassed by this why not stand by
It instead of having jr on rsdio sheff saying most times
You can get in rovers on a Saturday for £15

The club should be honest and upfront they have
Set a pricing strategy now stick to it

Can you explain how Watford are the cheapest? How much is it for an adult to get in at Vicarage Road for their first home game of the season? Or their second?

The whole research is a piece of shit. To single Donny out for criticism is ridiculous.

Yeah your right the research is crap.
But if you heard jr last night he gave the impression
Most games would be £15 which from what I can see
Will not be the case

I would love the club to just come out be honest
For the whole season
